Consulta: 

Una persona, se le tilda de ex cuando dejó de ser, o por el contrario si se jubiló, se pensionó o cumplió su periodo, se le coloca o no el prefijo ex.

Respuesta: 

El prefijo ex- significa textualmente «que fue y ha dejado de serlo», de manera que si un individuo ejerció como profesor y acaba de jubilarse, será un exprofesor y un jubilado o, alternativamente, un profesor jubilado.
