Santa Cruz de Tenerife, a 21 de junio de 2011.La pregunta en cuestión es ¿se escribe punto después de la fecha al final de un diploma?

Respuesta: 

La normativa actual no prescribe nada con respecto a la colocación de punto después de la fecha al final de un documento. Sin embargo, sí indica que la tendencia general es que las secuencias breves, aisladas del hilo del escrito (títulos, subtítulos, pies de imágenes, etc.), no necesitan ser demarcadas con un punto. Tratándose la fecha al final de un diploma de una secuencia independiente del contenido, creemos que no requiere ser demarcada con punto final.
