Quisiera saber si es correcta la expresión «tener la obligatoriedad». En el uso corriente es más frecuente oír «tener la obligación». Sin embargo, quizá ambas opciones son correctas.

Respuesta: 

Obligatoriedad es «cualidad de obligatorio». Obligación, en cambio, significa «cosa que alguien está obligado a hacer»; por ejemplo: «Se sancionó la obligatoriedad del uso del cinturón de seguridad en todos los automóviles, así, los conductores tienen la obligación de usarlo». No son sinónimos.
