Tengo confusión de si debo escribir los nombres de enfermedades (Autismo) con mayúscula en medio de una oración.

Respuesta: 

Los nombres de enfermedades son sustantivos comunes. Se escriben, pues, en minúscula, a menos que su denominación encierre también un nombre propio: autismo, síndrome de Down, esclerosis múltiple, gripe, enfermedad de Crohn.
