¿Por qué no se puede decir «más peor». ¿Y cuándo es correcto usar "más"?

Respuesta: 

El adverbio más, entre otros usos, se emplea para formar comparativos y superlativos de adjetivos, anteponiéndolo al adjetivo correspondiente: «Luis es más alto que Juan, pero Juan es más alto que Ramón, y Manuel es el más alto de todos». Existen, sin embargo, algunos adjetivos que no requieren el adverbio para formar su comparativo o superlativo, porque existen para estos palabras propias, lo que se llama comparativos o superlativos sintéticos, que proceden de los comparativos y superlativos latinos: malo - peor; bueno - mejor. Los adjetivos grande y pequeño admiten dos formas: grande - más grande, mayor; pequeño - más pequeño, menor. Otros superlativos sintéticos son los formados por el sufijo -ísimo, pero estos sí tienen productividad en español: altísimo, grandísimo, etc.
