Hacer peninos, pininos o pinitos —de acuerdo con los usos y costumbres regionales— significa dar los primeros pasos en cualquier área (cuando el que aprende a caminar, a escribir, un oficio, una profesión, una actividad comercial, intelectual, política... está en los inicios).
