Si lo que se vende son "verduras"¿ Por qué decimos " verdulería?

Respuesta: 

«Verdura», colectivo derivado de «verde» con el sufijo corriente encastellano «-ura», es palabra antigua. De ella derivóantiguamente la palabra «verdurera», que podría haber dado «verdurería».Ahora bien, en los siglos pasados, «verdurera» se convirtió en «verdulera»por un fenómeno llamado disimilación, o modificación de un sonido idéntico y cercano a otro en una misma palabra. De «verdulera» derivó luego verdulería».La disimislación de «r...r» en «r...l» o «l...r» es muy extensa en castellano. Ej.: roble < robre (ant.) < lat. robur; cárcel < cárcer (ant.) < lat. carcere(m); lebrel < lebrero (ant.) < lat. leporariu(m); celebro (ant.)< cerebro < lat. cerebru(m).
