Leo que ustedes reponden: La palabra tipear (no *tipiar) es considerada anglicismo innecesario por las academias de la lengua. Sin embargo, en muchas regiones de América se usa habitualmente.Si es inncesario (que no creo), ¿qué palabra deberíamos usar sin necesidad de describir la acción?

Respuesta: 

Las academias, que no este consultorio, lo consideran un anglicismo innecesario. En su lugar recomiendan usar mecanografiar, dactilografiar, escribir a máquina, pasar a máquina. Pero, en última instancia, será el hablante quien determine con su uso si la palabra queda o no asentada en la lengua, y entonces serán las academias las encargadas de acogerla en sus diccionarios.
