SE QUE LA PALABRA ES ERUPCION, QUIERO SABER SI SE PUEDE USAR COMO "EL VOLCAN ERUPTA" O "EL VOLCAN ESTA ERUPTANDO".

Respuesta: 

En relación con los volcanes y con efermedades de la piel, la palabra utilizada es erupción: el volcán entró /está en erupción. *Eruptar no es palabra registrada en los diccionarios ni reconocida como verbo. Es muy frecuente que el hablante la confunda con la sí existente eructar, de significado diferente. Agradecemos que al redactar su consulta, utilice mayúsculas únicamente donde correspondan. Es oportuno anotar que las palabras en mayúscula siguen también las reglas de acentuación gráfica. En su consulta: SÉ, ERUPCIÓN, VOLCÁN, ESTÁ.
