¿Cuál es el diminutivo de flecha? Siempre he pensado que flechecita, pero hay compañeras que opinan que flechita, y a mí eso no me entra, si hay flechazo tiene que haber flechecita; el caso es que estamos realizando un manual de alfabetización tecnológica y debemos utilizar el vocablo a menudo, por lo que tengo interés en resolver esa duda. Gracias.

Los sufijos más productivos en la formación de diminutivos son: -ito, a; -illo, a; -ico, a; -ín, ina: blusita, quesillo, ratico, casina. Es frecuente interponer la letra -c- o la combinación -ce- entre la base y el sufijo, especialmente si aquella termina en consonante: pan > pancito, pancillo, panecillo; flor > florecita; tren > trencito; mujer > mujercita. El diminutivo de mayor frecuencia de uso de flecha es flechita, en segundo lugar flechilla y, con diferencia el de menor frecuencia, flechecilla. Flechazo es un aumentativo de flecha. Note que los diminutivos/aumentativos se forman añadiendo el correspondiente sufijo a flecha: flech-a + -azo = flechazo; flech-a + -ita = flechita; flech-a + -ec- + -ita = flechecita.
