Consulta: 

He consultado las discusiones con respecto a si estas letras han desaparecido o no del abecedario. ¿Por cuál razón sigue siendo la ch la cuarta letra del abecedario, no estando ya, físicamente, en tal lugar?

Respuesta: 

Las letras ch y ll no pertenecen al abecederio del español desde la introudcción de los cambios ortográficos de diciembre de 2010, por eso las publicaciones anteriores a esa fecha (diccionarios, textos de gramática, etc.) consignan estas letras como la cuarta y la decimocuarta letras del alfabeto, respectivamente.
