El escritor colombiano Álvaro Mutis ganó este 12 de diciembre el Premio Miguel de Cervantes, considerado como la máxima distinción de las letras castellanas. El galardón, que incluye un premio en dinero equivalente a unos 80.000 dólares, será entregado el próximo 23 de abril por el rey de España, Juan Carlos de Borbón. En 1997, Mutis había obtenido el Premio Príncipe de Asturias
